According to CFO Richard Palmer, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles plans to spend $ 2 million on carbon expenses, including fines and credits.
The expenses will be incurred in three years, from 2019 to 2021, and were disclosed during the company’s first quarter results meeting.
FCA CEO Mike Manley said the purchase of the credits is a move to complement the company’s sustainability-related investments, which include the deployment of an electric fleet.
