From September 17th to 18th the Second Seminar on Agro-ecology of the state of Tocantins will be held in Palmas-TO. The event will address the challenges surrounding organic production at the regional and national levels. Concepts and issues such as economic potential of agroecology, prospects for organic beef production in Brazil, and fertilizer markets, and the experiments underway in the state will be dicussed.
The seminar was organized by the Institute for Rural Development of Tocantins (Ruraltins), the State Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, and the Committee on Organic Production of Tocantins (CPOrg).
