During an action by Ibama, in partnership with the Military Police (PM-SP), eighty wild animals were rescued from captivity in the city of São Paulo.
The first animals discovered were 15 spiders from Chile. With the discovery, the responsible organs traced the delivery of the spiders to a clandestine breeding ground where a leopard lizard and more than 60 crab spiders were trapped.
The animals were referred to the Butantan Institute where they will be evaluated and the person responsible was assessed.
